The 300/400 are bigger versions that are ideal for targeting bigger, stronger species of saltwater fish that are not as common in freshwater. SUPER SHIP technology, a level wind that ensures proper line lay, together with a wider larger spool ensures super smooth casting performance. The use of carbon drag washers makes for excellent drag modulation.
Equipped with up to 11 A-RB (Shimano Anti-Rust Bearings) that are 10 times more corrosion resistant than ordinary bearings and a 45mm long handle for powerful cranking, this is one versatile and powerful reel.
